Quick & Easy Sourdough Discard Cinnamon Rolls Recipe

Ingredients For the Dough: – 1 cup sourdough discard – 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour – ¼ cup sugar – ½ teaspoon salt

– 2 teaspoons baking powder – ½ teaspoon baking soda – ½ cup milk – ¼ cup melted butter

For the Filling: – ½ cup brown sugar – 2 teaspoons cinnamon – 2 tablespoons melted butter

For the Glaze: – ½ cup powdered sugar – 2 tablespoons milk – ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions 1. Mix the Dough – In a bowl, combine sourdough discard, flour, sugar, salt, baking powder, and baking soda. Add milk and melted butter, mixing until a soft dough forms.

Roll It Out – Lightly flour a surface and roll the dough into a rectangle (about ¼-inch thick). Spread the Filling – Brush the dough with melted butter and sprinkle an even layer of brown sugar and cinnamon.

Roll & Slice – Roll the dough tightly from the long edge, then cut into 8-10 rolls. Bake to Perfection – Place rolls in a greased baking dish and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.

Make the Glaze – Whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth. Drizzle & Enjoy – Pour the glaze over warm rolls and serve fresh!
