A look at when our next round of snow is expected in southern Maine

Southern Maine is anticipating multiple rounds of snow in the coming days. Here's a breakdown of the expected snowfall:

Thursday, February 13: A storm system is projected to bring snow to the region late Thursday morning through the evening.

High temperatures will range from the 20s to near 30°F, with light northeast winds. Snow may transition to sleet and freezing drizzle before ending Thursday night.

Saturday Night into Sunday Morning (February 15-16): Another low-pressure system is expected to move into the Northeast

Bringing snow from south to north across Maine starting late Saturday night into Sunday morning.

Snowfall is anticipated to taper off between 9 a.m. and noon on Sunday. Accumulations could reach 4-6 inches in areas including Augusta, Rockland, and Rumford, with higher amounts possible south of Portland.

Following these systems, conditions are expected to remain relatively calm through Wednesday, with only a few flurries possible, mainly across northern areas.
